Lock Street Sidewalk, FDOT District 7, Pasco County, FL - The project is part of the overall FDOT District Seven Scenic Enhancement (SE) Program which Bayside services as the General Consultant. The project was initially a LAP program candidate, but due to the challenges with drainage and sidewalk alignment, it was returned to the SE program. The sidewalk was designed along the northern right-of-way line and transverses through grade variances requiring gravity walls and strategic front and back side slope designs. Due to the severe right-of-way restrictions, drainage was provided in newly created roadside swales to offset the increased impervious area of the sidewalk surface.
